Cinnamon Rolls. Easy and tasty recipe.

Cinnamon Rolls.

That’s probably my favorite desert ever. It`s easy to make and so delicious to eat. I tried it first time in America and I wanted all the time to recreate this recipe. So here I have easy recipe of yeast dough and delicious feeling.

Makes 16 rolls.

1 Package of Dry Yeast
¾ cup of Whole Milk
¼ cup of Granulated Sugar
¼ cup of Water, warmed up to 115 degrees

1 tsp of Vanilla
1 Egg
1 tsp of Salt
¼ cup of Unsalted Butter, melted
4 cups of All Purpose Flour
¼ cup of Melted Butter, to brush over the top before baking

1/3 cup of Unsalted Butter, at room temperature
¾ cup of Brown Sugar
¼ cup of Granulated Sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp of Ground Cinnamon

  • First we should activate the yeast. In a small bowl combine warm water and yeast, and one tsp of sugar, it will help to activate the yeast.

  • Sift the flower and add vanilla, sugar, salt and mix it. Then add egg, butter and mix it good again. Finally add water with yeast, and milk, mix it really good, until you have smooth dough. “It depends how much flower you will need. Maybe more then 4 cups maybe less”.

  • Oil a large bowl with some vegetable oil. Make a bowl from the dough and placed it in the oiled bowl and oil the top of the dough with a little vegetable oil. Cover with clean kitchen towel and put in warm place to rise “for me it`s in microwave “ for about 2 hours.

  • In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, granulated sugar and cinnamon for the filling, set aside.
  • When dough will double in size, punch the dough down and roll it out on floured surface into a rectangle. Thickness of the dough should be about half inch. Spread the soft butter over the top and sprinkle evenly over the sugar and cinnamon mixture.

  •  Tightly roll the dough into a jelly roll form. Cut into 14 to 16 slices “make sure they are even” and place them in a well buttered 9×13 baking pan “as you can see I have smaller pan, so I place them in two pans”. Cover with kitchen towel and let put them back into a warm spot to rise for another 1 hour.

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  •  Once risen, brush them with some melted butter and bake them for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Enjoy you desert and Bon Appetite.
